The Tropentheater of Amsterdam has invited us to play a new soundtrack to the historical 1927 silent film, which is a copy only owned by their film archive. This is the fourth chinese silent films our Filip-Kimho Duo has put our music on.

On Friday June 10, Filip and Kimho will accompany the classic Chinese silent film "Romance of the Western Chamber" (1927) with live music.

This will take place in the Tropentheater, Amsterdam.

On February 20 Filip and Kimho appeared on the Dutch tv program "Vrije Geluiden".They played two pieces and were interviewed by Melchior Huurdeman about their work with Chines music.

On Sunday morning, February 20, at 10.30h the music program "Vrije Geluiden" will be broadcast at Ned.1

Kimho and Filip will appear in this program, talk in an interview about their music and projects and will also perform some music.

The duo has given a guest lecture for music students of Dr. Bi at the Beijing University on 15th December, followed by a successful concert attended by more than 1,500 audience at the Beijing Concert Hall on 20th December. Filip has given his first speech in Mandarin in front of Beijing people, only after learning chinese language for a few weeks!
